WinterFest & Wreath Sale

Select a botanically or traditionally-themed wreath, support small, local businesses and artisans at our Winter Market, enjoy the winter garden, and warm up in the Manor House. Mulled wine and hot apple cider will be available for sale.

The Garden Gift Shop will be fully stocked with a  great selection of botanically-themed gifts. Wreaths sell out quickly so arrive early for the best selection!

Winter Market Vendors

  • Allana Nagy Ceramics: Handmade ceramic mugs, plates, ornaments, wall hangings, and jewelry
  • Alpine Woodsman: Cutting boards, charcuterie boards, cribbage boards, chess boards, rocking chairs.
  • KidLit and STEAM: Author and illustrator, Audrey Sauble, with nature & science-themed children’s books
  • Bridge City Blooms: Seasonal floral arrangements and centerpieces
  • Cindi Szeimies: Fused and stained glass works. Fused glass pieces and ornaments; usable platters, bowls and sushi sets.
  • Dandy Gal: Small abstract paintings on canvas and paper; ceramic earrings; ceramic sculptures and home goods (small vases, trinket dishes).

Back 5 Bio Blitz

10 AM to 12 PM
April 25th & September 12th

Come help us catalog the Back 5 plant communities! We’ll be documenting what plants exist in the Back 5 to get a better understanding of what plants we’ll need to prioritize for future planting. 

Participants will learn about our native and non-native plant communities, gain some plant ID skills/practice, and practice reciprocity by helping fall planning efforts. No experience required.
