Weeds! We all have them. Learn how to identify the most common garden and landscape weeds along with some of the other more notorious plant invaders of the region. We will walk you through how these aggressive plants can take over in your yard and provide some simple yet effective tips that will help you get the upper hand without turning to synthetic herbicides. Please note that this class will focus on the Willamette Valley in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
Although Leach Botanical Garden typically hosts these workshops in our Manor House Fireplace Room, during the pandemic, we are delighted to continue hosting them on our website and to join EMSWCD events online.
Please contact Rhesa at (503) 222-7645 or rhesa@emswcd.org for information on accessibility or accommodation.

About EMSWCD:
The East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District (EMSWCD) is a unit of local government serving Northwest Oregon’s Multnomah County east of the Willamette River. We are led by an elected board of five directors and several associate directors. We work entirely on a voluntary, non-regulatory basis.
