Annual Garden Events

We’re sorry to announce that due to coronavirus concerns, and in accordance with guidance from the CDC, World Health Organization and Oregon Health Authority, the Garden is canceling all events through August. The English Tea is July has been canceled, also. Please check back for further information.

In the meantime, we do want to remind folks that the Garden grounds remain open during our regular hours.

We encourage everyone to actively take healthy preventive measures and take advantage of the outdoors,

Trees and nature offers physical and psychological benefits that are especially valuable during this international crisis. We encourage you to visit Leach Botanical Garden this spring and enjoy the many benefits it offers you, with confidence that we are following recommended protocols to protect your health and safety. Please monitor your health for your own well-being and be respectful of its potential impacts to others. If you are not feeling well, please refrain from visiting the garden until you are fully recovered. We plan to remain open while it is safe and prudent to do so.

Leach Garden is small and has many narrow pathways that cannot accommodate large groups of people. We also have limited parking and garden capacity requirements that we must follow.

Any group larger than 10 must contact our admissions staff at least 5 days in advance. We are assessing reservations on a case by case basis. Please email or call 503-208-6030. You may be turned away if you don't contact us beforehand.

Advance registration is required for all workshops, classes and events here at the garden. Many activities have limited seating/attendance and are first come, first serve.

Admission during regular Garden hours is waived  until spring 2022 during this introductory period in celebration of the Upper Garden development project.

Garden capacity is currently limited due to parking and state guidelines. To ensure that you are able to visit at the time you wish, click here to reserve your free timed entry ticket below.

All guests must check in at our admissions booth upon arrival. Timed tickets are for time entry only; once here, feel free to enjoy the garden at your leisure.

If you arrive prior to or after your ticket entry time, you will be able to enter the Garden as capacity permits.

Donations are appreciated. Contributions support the operation of the Garden and our ability to offer programs and education.

Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and feel free to bring a water bottle.
