Announcement of Executive Director Transition

Leach Garden Friends announces the resignation of Executive Director Ben Shockey effective March 1, 2025. Ben's leadership has been notable the past two and a half years and will be missed. He has admirably fostered staff and garden development and strengthened our partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation. We wish Ben well in his next adventures and professional pursuits.

A search for a new Executive Director begins in mid-November. A job description and application process will be posted as soon as available.
